After reading Chapter 1 of the Letter of James, I’ll include some calm music so you can meditate on God’s word. The exercise will end when the music finishes.

Before we begin the Bible reading, take a moment to relax, and clear your mind so you can focus on God. Take a deep breath, and as you release the air, let go of your worries.

Let your muscles relax, releasing tension, as you settle in.

You may want to pray now, or sit quietly.

Focus on hearing from God, and meditating on God’s word, as we read His Word.
